First give credit where credit is due.  This is Bon Appetit’s recipe from 1984.  They republished it this year, since it has been the most popular recipe they have published ever.  I thought it was really pretty, so decided to give it a go.  3 hours in disaster strikes.  The ribbons break and there was NO WAY IN HELL those things were going to curl.  Not to mention, the picture isn’t nearly as lumpy as mine was.  *But* the best part, it was...
