Spicy Steak with Grilled Polenta

This recipe actually called for 1/2 cup of refrigerated salsa on top of the steak.  That has got to be the most disgusting thing I have ever heard of in my life.  Now I can understand people not wanting to take the time to cut up tomatoes, onions, herbs, etc….but every grocery store I have ever been into has freshly chopped pico de gallo.  Not the best, but 10 times better than salsa on steak.
BTW- if you buy the tube of polenta, be forewarned.  That damn thing has squirted me in the eye every single time I have opened it.
